corn maze, carving pumpkins, and a halloween party!

So, we have been up to some fun things the past couple of weeks. All of this halloween stuff is very fun and exciting when you have little kids that are very into it. So we have been having a lot of fun this year with this holiday. I took the kids to the pumkin patch a couple weeks back, and we had a lot of fun. The kids loved all the animals and little rides they had there. I even had fun with the animals. They must be so use to humans because they are so tame and they dont mind being touched and poked. It was really great.

A few days after going to the pumkin patch we carved pumkins at cords parents house with his dad and sister and brother. They kids....well they were not very into the pumkin guts. In fact, Cayden was pretty much gagging when he saw the pumkin stuff on my hands. He hated it and he hated the way that it smelled. It was pretty funny but I thought he might actually throw up from gagging himself. But cord helped carve Caydens and I helped carve Kennadi's. They turned out really cute!! They may not be prize winning but they are some good looking pumkins and it was really fun to have the family together to do this. The most fun things are the things we do all together.!!

About a week or so after we carved out pumkins, we all went to a ward halloween party. This was fun for the kids. Cayden loved seeing all the other kids costumes and he was very happy to finally get to dress up in his power ranger suit. Kennadi screamed for the first 30 minutes after I put her in her which dress. She hates wearing dresses as it is but this dress what really fluffy and puffy. She really hated it. I felt bad but she looked soooo cute. So the halloween party was really fun too, and they got kind of a warm up for halloween!

I'm doing what?

So for the past couple weeks, things have been nuts. There are so many things that I feel like need to happen or want to happen. So I am trying to do what I need to do, but knowing what I need to do is not always easy. So Yesterday I finally figured out what I need to do. So I made a few call and filled out some paper work, and I am going to FINALLY go back to school in january. I couldnt feel better about this decision! I have been wanting to go back to school since Kennadi was born, so now just seems like the perfect time to finally go. This really means so much to me. I feel that education is a very important thing and I need to be able to teach my children that. So for now I am just going to for an ADN which is my associates degree in nursing. So wish me luck and I really hope that everything continues to work out in this direction.

My Kiddos!!

I just wanted to post a few recent pictures of my adorable kids just to say how proud I am of both of them and how much I love them. These two children are so wonderful, I just dont know what I would do without them. Everyone says that about their kids but I really mean it. With cord working out of town all the time, these children are what get me by. They make me so happy, and they bring meaning into my life. My children are so cute, funny, energetic, and so well behaved. I just cant say enough about them. They mean so much to me and I couldnt be more proud of the both of them. Everytime I look at one or the other, I cant believe that this child is my, that I created it, and that now it is so big and perfect. Its amazing the feelings we feel as mothers. They are the best in the world. Thank you Cayden and Kennadi, you light up my life! <3

Busy day

Today was just a busy day. This was my first wednesday working and so I was away from my kids for about 4 hours this afternoon. In was good and bad. I thought it would be nice to get away for a while but I ended up misisng my kids! Who would have thought that getting a break would have made me really miss them. It just really makes me realize what great kids I have and how much I love them. What would like be like without my kids? I dont even care to find out.
Today was hump day so now it should all be down hill until cord gets here. Its nice to know that the week is half over. I miss my husband. Being husbandless is harder that it seems. Those women whose husbands come home every night really dont know how lucky they are. Dont take your men for granted. They need to know how much they are loved!!
Its finally bed time and it couldnt have come soon enogh.

OCTOBER???

Is it really October already? I really cannot beleive the way this year is flying by. Its crazy. Who knew time went so fast once you have children. I hate thinking about time. It makes me sad. I mean, I am excited for our future and for my kids to get older and everything, but I am sad for it too. Cayden will be going to pre school next year. That is so crazy. He is my baby, and even though he is 3 I still think of him like that.

So this week I have really been like a chicken running around with no head on. This has been one of the craziest weeks of my life. Since I was up north all week last week i felt like I got so behind on all my house work and everything I usually do all week. So I have been so busy this week. To top it off i have also been taking care of sick kids and a really sick husband!!! Being mom and wife means doing everything!!! but i wouldnt have it any other way...I wanted to be all caught up by the end of the week, and its friday and I am not done. I have been re painting and re decorationg and re organizing my whole house. Something about fall makes me want to re do everything. I just cant stant clutter and mess. I know I am a little obsessive about it, so in order to stay sane, i just clean and clean. It works for me. So this week has been nuts. I am kind of glad that is about over. Except for cord is going back out of town on monday. So that kinda suck.
